Hibbert as a Low-Post Presence

Nice article by Mike Wells in the Indy Star today about Hibbert. His article talks about how Hibbert is trying to become a low-post presence for the Pacers, and I'd like to offer my opinion on this.

The Pacers have lacked a dominant low-post presence since the days when JO was in his prime. Ever since, our team has struggled, and this is largely due to the lack of a low-post presence in my opinion. I really like the core of players we have on our team right now, and I think with a low-post presence we could be a really good team. I'm still not convinced Hibbert is that low-post presence we so desperately need. In the games I have seen so far this season, I've been impressed with Hibbert's play, but he still has some work to do. He is still a few years away from developing into a dominant low-post player, but even if we wait around for him, there is no guarantee he will develop into this role. The Pacers need to find a dominant low-post player soon if we hope to compete, whether through the draft or through the trade market.
